Pioneering technology for a healthier future
Best-in-class for PFAS removal.
Our patented PerfluorAd technology is a cutting-edge solution for treating PFAS contaminations in water, systems, equipment and other contaminated mediums with the highest possible effectivity, restoring safety and advancing environmental stewardship.
What are PFAS?
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a large group of synthetic chemicals used for their water, heat, and stain-resistant properties.
These chemicals have been widely used in industries and consumer products since the 1940s, commonly found in non-stick cookware, waterproof fabrics, food packaging, and firefighting foams.
Due to their unique chemical structure, PFAS do not break down naturally in the environment, leading to their accumulation in water, soil, and even living organisms. This persistence has earned them the name “forever chemicals.” Over time, PFAS contamination has become a serious environmental issue, as these substances can spread through groundwater and drinking water supplies as well as food chain. Scientific studies have linked exposure to certain PFAS to adverse health effects of humans.
PFAS situations and applications
PFAS are widespread and affect numerous areas, causing severe damages.
With our leading PerfluorAd technology, we offer flexible and effective PFAS removal in all areas, ensuring regulatory compliance, safeguarding your workforce and stakeholders, and supporting ecosystem recovery.

Our solution technology
Developed and patented in 2019 in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT, PerfluorAd’s active ingredient represents the leading technology in PFAS treatment, offering unmatched effectiveness and innovation.
PerfluorAd is introduced as a liquid agent into the contaminated water stream, allowing for high contact frequency and efficient binding with PFAS pollutants. This interaction results in the precipitation and removal of PFAS compounds, ensuring cleaner water.
The dosage of PerfluorAd can be adjusted in real-time to match the raw water conditions, ensuring the most efficient treatment and achieving the desired target levels with precision.
PerfluorAd’s precipitation of PFAS serves as the pre-cleaning stage, utilizing a filtration or settlement process to remove the PerfluorAd precipitated PFAS and ensure thorough water purification.
Finally, polishing or post-cleaning steps, such as using powder carbon (PAC), granular activated carbon (GAC) or ion exchange (IX) resins, are employed to ensure complete purification. These modular solutions are adaptable to varying water conditions for optimal results.
- Highest possible efficiency 99.5%
- Highest possible effectivity (>99.5%), even with high PFAS concentrations
- Outstanding cleaning results, especially with complex contaminated water containing various and unknown pollutants as well as high organic background contamination
- High-cost efficiency thanks to long activated carbon service life and smaller activated carbon filters
- Higher effectivity as ongoing adaption of the treatment process possible based on PFAS concentration, water inlet and background contamination
- Integration into existing treatment systems possible
- Negligible disposal costs because of only a minimal amount of residual waste
- 360° service – plan, build and operate
