Cornelsen Umwelttechnologie GmbH has stood for pioneering solutions in water treatment for over 25 years. At its Essen site, the company develops innovative systems for cleaning contaminated water, with a particular focus on PFAS compounds.

As a pioneer in this field, Cornelsen has more than 20 years of experience in the removal of perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. A key technology is PerfluorAd®, which was specially developed for flushing stationary extinguishing systems and for retrofitting fire engines.

The company sees itself as a generalist in water treatment. It takes on the planning, construction and operation of complete treatment plants. Cornelsen relies on technological excellence and long-standing partnerships with leading research institutions.

In co-operation with Fraunhofer UMSICHT and the University of Duisburg-Essen, practical, scientifically sound and future-oriented solutions for a clean environment are being developed.
