PFAS contamination poses growing challenges for industry, authorities and site operators worldwide. Regulatory requirements, complex contamination scenarios and the need for economically viable solutions make it clear that PFAS remediation requires more than isolated technologies or standardised treatment approaches.
The Cornelsen Group's aim is to identify, combine and implement the most technically effective and economically efficient solution for each individual load scenario. Instead of relying on a single technology, the focus is on the best possible result for each location, each regulatory framework and each customer-specific requirement.
With this in mind, the Cornelsen Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Haemers Technologies to provide integrated PFAS remediation solutions in Europe and international markets.
The partnership combines complementary expertise, technologies and operational capabilities to provide customers with coordinated solutions for PFAS contamination in soils, groundwater, industrial water streams and fire protection applications.
Haemers Technologies contributes its expertise in ex-situ soil treatment with the patented Krysalis® technology, thermal remediation and the implementation of large-scale projects.
The Cornelsen Group complements this expertise with technologies and solutions in the areas of groundwater treatment, pump-and-treat systems, soil vapour extraction and treatment, containerised treatment systems, stabilisation technologies and PFAS concentration processes. Cornelsen has also developed PerfluorAd® - a patented technology platform for the treatment of PFAS-contaminated extinguishing water and the decontamination of extinguishing systems and equipment.
Together, the two companies are able to provide solutions for PFAS contamination in soil and groundwater along the entire treatment chain - from stabilisation and pre-treatment to PFAS concentration, water treatment and final destruction technologies.
At the core of the partnership is the shared belief that PFAS contamination requires integrated solutions that combine in-depth remediation expertise, advanced process engineering, hands-on implementation expertise and proven technologies. The combination of Haemers Technologies' expertise in PFAS soil treatment with the Cornelsen Group's treatment, equipment and implementation capabilities creates a platform that can address even highly complex PFAS challenges along the entire remediation chain. The aim is to offer customers technically robust, economically efficient and project-specific solutions that are tailored to the individual requirements of each site.
Both companies share the aim of identifying and utilising the best available technologies and solutions for their customers.
The partnership is based on the conviction that PFAS challenges increasingly require integrated treatment concepts that combine technical expertise, practical implementation skills and coordinated remediation strategies.
The collaboration between Cornelsen Group and Haemers Technologies is another important step in strengthening international co-operation and building long-term partnerships to meet the growing global PFAS challenge.
