6 November 2025 marks a special milestone in the history of our company: The Cornelsen Group has been awarded the Sustainable Impact Award (SIA) 2025 excellent - 1st place in the "Impact on Earth" category. Awarded by the WirtschaftsWoche and Generalithe award recognises companies that achieve real impact and not only communicate sustainability, but live it. This is precisely why this award means so much to us.
Cornelsen has been recognised for both the technologies PerfluorAd® and PerfluorAd+® as well as for the sustainability practised within the company. Both solutions are already helping - worldwide - to protect habitats in the midst of a global environmental crisis and make them more liveable again where PFAS damage already exists.
The jury emphasised that with PerfluorAd® and PerfluorAd+®, the Cornelsen Group has developed a powerful answer to one of the most pressing global environmental problems. The technologies demonstrably make it possible to safely reduce PFAS and thus achieve a real Impact on Earth to achieve.
The Sustainable Impact Award impressively demonstrates that PFAS is no longer a niche topic - awareness of the urgency of this problem has now reached the wider society. At the same time, the award makes it clear that sustainability is more important today than ever before and that solutions are needed that actually help.
This is a clear signal for us: Our work has an impact. And it is needed. At a time when PFAS are among the greatest environmental and health risks, the award confirms that solutions such as PerfluorAd® and PerfluorAd+® not only function technically, but also enable real change.
In Munich Martin Cornelsen and Thorsten Bothe accepted the award in person - on behalf of all Cornelsen Group colleagues in Germany, the UK, Sweden and the USA. After all, this success represents a team that has been working for years with perseverance, expertise and passion to treat PFAS pollution worldwide in a safer and more sustainable way.
This award goes to every single member of the Cornelsen Group worldwide - and represents their daily work, their commitment and their belief in our mission.
We will continue. With a clear goal: A sustainable environment - without PFAS.
